    Hi guys,

    I don't know why but i don't like them

I think i need more pop sounding synths/towards acoustic directions...like not crazy sounds

like calvin harris/summer kind of sounds

can you advise me what direction i need to take

i get frustrated each time i open up a synth and i can barely find a sound i like..getting a normal bass sound should not be that tough, instead all that crazyness scrolling through bass presets...

That's the reason why I think it's worth learning how to create your own sounds. I rarely find what I'm looking for either, so I usually pick any preset that is remotely similar and tweak it until it sounds right. Browsing presets can eat a lot of time.

You are on a roll, Samsome!
I suggest you tweak knobs and learn sound synthesis.

If you really like to dive into sound creation yourself you should consider to buy a synth like Avenger or even better Falcon that can help you create almost anything you want.
But you really have to learn it from the ground up and practice a lot.

Nevertheless, presets are a good starting point instead of developing every sound from scratch.

great start imo is ROLI Seaboard RISE with Equator synth,
with MPE MIDI functionality, everything sounds more dynamic, less predictable, less artificial
