not only here but also in the beta forum .... massive is still buggy and its GUI is the slowest opening in the world. At the momnet I just use it as 'tone generator', multisample it and further use the result in another synth , eg avenger...

 

Hi my dear friend.I think you should have a problem with your computer because on my pc windows 10 pro it opens in half a second.
However I had a bug with Massive X losing my settings from a previous session.But I installed Massive X again and since the last update v1.1.0,I haven't encountered this issue again.

 

...because it's a shame to have to multisample a great synth like Massive X,sampling sounds kind of sterile...

 

It is not only me, there are plenty reports. Make a screencast. Which DAW ?
Under Studio One there is even a bug moving the plugin GUI

depends on the soundesigner and possibilities of the synth . btw Massive Wavetable OSC are also samples

 

I use Studio One.But the plugin is just slightly sluggish in your video,not "slow"...

 

The Perfomer tabs in Massive X are the best thing since Zebra's MSEG. Or Absynth envelopes.

compared to other syths very slow. Compare how fast Serum opens or the S1 stock Plugins.I just wish any plugin woudl open that fast, and if noone complains they dont bother and keep things slow ;)

do you get lags when dragging teh window ? You are are on Windows or macOS ?

dont get me wrong, I am not ranting etc. I just state my impressions without judging or emotions.

 

I'm on Windows and no I don't have the "problem" when dragging plugins' GUI.My PC only uses onboard Intel graphics UHD 630 from a i7 8700.

What I call slow is plugins like FXpansion's ones.That's SLOW!
