I'd like to see more competition in this keyboard format from other companies. Not only would it prevent obsolescence, but prices might drop with mass production. You listening, Uli?

    i see a pattern there....
these 2 companys do no curtailment on nothing they use the best....they not cheap for good reasons...
some would never build a kmix cause it would wipe need of mixer and controller to buy after buying just and audio interface

Had the QuNeo from keithmcmillen, it was not worth the money, pads sensitivity were coarse and construction material nothing special. I think that for this kind of products we don't pay the building costs, but we pay for the engineering. If you look at what Look Mum No Computer did with a Seaboard by cutting it and showing the inside, it's clear that the building cost can't justify the selling price. Software like TouchDaw, allows to use the keyboard in a similar fashion on the touch screen, this is the most affordable way I know to do it and with a big enough touch screen it's enjoyable.

Looks cool but If I were going to spend that much on a keyboard I’d prob just spring for a synth with a nice keyboard. I hear really good things about the key bed on hydra synth. Same price. And for a bit more money, I’ve seen multiple people claim the virus keyboard is second to none. Maybe not as extensive on expressive midi but having a an actual sound generator, plus a whole panel of knobs to map to softsynths makes up for it for me
