CISPA is a law that turns the sites you love into legally immune government spies. It passed the House, but we're organizing the largest online privacy protest in history to stop it. You in?

Sign the petition if you can:

    LOLz @ Lord G!

I think the enemies tactic is the same old same old they always pull, a war of attrition! "They" know full well the usual response to any attack against "us" and "our" precious liberties always starts with huge support in "our" favour, however, "they" also know that the majority of "us" are lame brained soap opera fanatics and sports fans (Present company of course excluded!).

What starts out as huge news with millions opposed, pretty soon dwindles down to a few knitted woolly jumper, leather booted, dread locked crusty type citizens with their tired old "We shall not be moved" drivel.

Oh yes, they know "us" ALL too well.

Anyhoo, lemme just pull on ma boots and slip on ma woolly sweater and I`m in! :grooves:

I feel that way sometimes, too. Why so many people use that garage, Idk. Bring back the old Myspace and maybe I'll do social networking again. Maybe...

Make it 2 and I'll be there.

CISPA was passed in the House Of Representatives but the Senate said they won't consider the bill citing privacy concerns. Also Obama vowed to veto it if it comes across his desk. Next time please specify details in your title because initially I was really confused. Anyway it is of the utmost importance that this bill be defeated but even if that happens our fight isn't over because there are many other worrying events happening around the world. The days of standing by and watching things unfold have long since vanished. The time is now to set aside all our differences and unite as a powerful force to be reckoned with in this brave new world.

You and I grow more alike by the day.

Signed and delivered... I don't use FB nor Tweeter much, but I have the accounts so I can spread stuff like this. :)

This BBC history article is very educative. That's why we have to study history - to learn from it and never repeat the same mistakes. d= ;)
