Okay so around last year i obtained a cracked logic pro x from some people i knew. Fast forward now im trying to learn how to mix and master/ add plugins. I attempted to look for the folder you drop plugins into . but its no where to be found. Should i just cop a legit logic pro x instead of dealing with this cracked version?

 

I'm definitely going to cop a legit version of all the daws and plug-ins I use on a regular once I get the money to do so.

 

If you can afford it, you should pay for your software.

And related to your problem, I would say: "Make a thread with a title that descibes your problem, like "Apple Logic Pro X cracked...problem with plugIns folder" post in in the DAW or Mac section of this forum and wait for some users who give you a solution" I dont think its a problem of the cracked version.

afaik logic pro X isn't cracked at all. There is simply no copy-protection. The AU (.component extension)plugin-folder location on every Mac is Macintosh HD:/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/

The support for the major DAW's is generally good. That's what you theoretically pay for.
The upgrades to the next version are often one-fifth of the price (or less again ) too.
