instead of this, why not setting-up a channel with playlists of THE BEST channels we can rely to ?
if I'm not wrong, there's already a thread for this on the forum

the only problems I have with YT is they decide who lives and who dies ( and subscribers to me doesn't rhymes with quality )
and their algorithm sucks *ss,with "recommandations" one couldn't care less about and doesn't take in consideration your choices
    even when you submit them.

enough tutorials for a lifetime have been shared on the sister site anyways, but still a channel with specific work-oriented targets
with gear & soft would be great.

I had never watched the pencil neck until you guys mentioned him right here. He is annoying as fuck and presumes people don't know how to use their ears. this guy probably mixes without even having speakers on as he is too busy watching meters and waveforms.... pretentious little snark prick who for some reason is afraid to death of aliasing.

And why did he take down his Decapitator video? Because he was wrong? Easy for the clown to take shots at others with jaundiced eye and snark, but can't stand by his own?

I won't be watching him again. I know enough guys like that already. Spend less time talking about it, and actually use the shit and LISTEN to how it works for YOU in your music and in your intent.

is this plugin a a snake oil ? that headline alone will make watch rightaway,...lol ..
it seems some dont like his channel which is fine by me but he the only funny type
i admit i like watching his videos he goes experimenting on plugins and comparing stuff in funny accent
he does act as silly and total goofball sometimes which all fun watch and i like his reaction when he find interesting stuff
and its all very appreciated in my book

im sure there are others with similar subject with testing plugins and synthesizers
and it all good for us to watch them and learn something

and also pluginguru channel ''skippy'' is on my YT radar, most of us know him as the guy who makes fantastic omnisphere presets

Hi I am Gyro, lets start negative nonsense topics that most probably will divide members into camps for no other reason than I have a need to be seen, and while I am at it, let me create clickbait subject titles too.

If you don't like Youtube because of the most content it shows today, then just block the videos and channels that bother you.
For Firefox there's a very nice addon called Channel Blocker. It allows you to block anything you don't like and you never will see
any video of that type/channel again.

You even can block comments by content selection.

I for example blocked all comments that start with "who else likes"; "who comes from channel xy"; these stupid child comments starting with "Nobody:" or "am I joke to you" and more and when I now read comments, all these shit comments are hidden.

Same applies to all kinds of channels from the stupid German trash TV, beauty channels and content creators I don't like.

And as extra you get an x besides every video which you can click to block it instantly. That way you can control
what recommendations you get from youtube.

[IMG] yes, that cursor is a middle finger ;)

after clicking the x, the video is blocked and hidden. [IMG]

hm, gonna block that david copperfield shit as well, haha

Do you remember Myspace? Well, if you search there enough you still can find interesting stuff, but this is not a good reason to spend time on Myspace.

Myspace already died, Facebook and Youtube will die soon, very soon.

Facebook is already a cemetery, a very sad place to spend time.

Social platform are like creatures, they born, grow up and then die. No matter how hard they try to survive.

Instagram will die a little later when people got enough about that stupid super ego centered platform.

Next? Who know, but I really hope for something open source.

question should be what channels to support imo... that would be a positive approach

Myspace died because they deliberately destroyed their platform to force people to FB. It was a great place before that happened.
YT has all kinds of content, all kinds of topics, its a great addition to the www, of course there is a lot of bs as well, but lets look at the positive side of things.

White Sea kid is infotainment and I watch his videos, like all gear reviews, with discretion in mind.
The #1 problem, which does himself a major disservice, is not reading manuals.
It's a poor practice, that wastes time and gets him into the weeds. If not into pure f*****g trouble. LOL
The Acustica-Audio debacle, is one prime example of why you should REALLY read a manual.
I own lots of Acustia-Audio plugins and Nebula, and it's absolute cream.
So, I knew he really wet the bed on that one.
That said, it's not like you have to live or die by anything, anyone says on YT or the web.
We all have eyes and ears of our own, to try out a demo or visit a dealer, to hear and see a product in action for ourselves.
    P.S. Read the f*****g manual.

Yep, and then it's Google, Microsoft, Apple, the USA, the Taliban and then the world will die too. Good thing you have already moved to the stratosphere mate.
