    For bass drum (or any sample that is played repeatedly) extraction you can cross-correlate a few rough bass drum cuts to find exact phase-coherent matches and then sum them up using 32bit precision.
    You're Gyro Gearloose so you'll do it in a heartbeat :winker:

    One possible tool you could use for the task is Matlab, another - free - one is Praat

    Why is your audio source so bad...When I look and listen to the youtube Clip, this sounds much better than your Wav-file.
    You know you can download the audiosource directly from every Youtube clip without the need of a new compression by using JDownloader in combination with ffmpeg?

    Same here about Rx attempts... Tried to install a spectral layers demo but it wouldn't load in my windows build.


    Interested in that matlab for sure:like:

    AconDigital DeVerberate (i worked with hardware and it comes close to it)
    Chorus64 from AirWindows (Free Plugin)
    Drive64 from AirWindows (Free Plugin)

    Can sound better and was an quick tweak, but the challenge was to remove the background sound :)
