I am having some problems with Massive not working correctly with Ableton Live 8 and 9 (cracked, it does the same thing in both - anytime I try to change the unison in the voicing it crashes the session). I am new to dubstep, and following a tutorial; it is really starting to annoy me. I am wanting to purchasing NI Komplete 9, (it's an open box buy in a store a good friend of mine works). If I am using legit versions of Kontakt and the other things that come with it, am I still going to be able to libraries for Kontakt found here in it? Can I mix and match like that?

No, you can't use those Kontakt libraries without serial numbers, hence the use of a cracked Kontakt.

You could simply drop in a cracked Kontakt VST plugin into your VST folder, which would probably be your best bet.

Anyway, what makes you so certain that the bug you are encountering is due to using a cracked Massive? NI plugins are certainly not without bugs, which is why they tend to constantly release updates.

See if you can get a legitimate user and cracked user (of the same exact Massive version) to reproduce the same crash.

 

K'd libraries don't work legit Kontakt, youll need k'd kontakt for those. Buy Komplete 9 if you can a support the devs anyway.

 

I guess I will continue to use the cracked Kontakt. I can change the voice count in massive in the standalone version. I have been following the Tornado Brothers dubstep tutorial (currently on step 11), and the sound that I end up with is nothing like the one they do. And the circular lights on Massive don't light up when I send LFO 5 to the Filter 1 - I only get a very small green light on the dial(only one line) that moves with the knob, and the sound that I make should be pulsing, but it is only half pulsing. if I load a preset that uses it, those circular lights do come on. I am on windows 7 pro btw.

edit, and also, when I work on the standalone version, it appears to stop working and when i close it and open it, instead of leaving off where I started, it has loaded a preset.

 

You obviously have the money to buy Komplete, so buy it.
There's enough with Komplete to make music without the need to have 30+ other libraries.
