Have a weird problem. Most of my folders on my secondary SSD drive are showing lock symbols on them. When I look at the attributes the folders are shown a read only. I have set Ownership of the Drive and the folders to Administrators to no avail. If I try to delete a folder it says access denied, if I uncheck the read only tick box, still say access denied and when I go back into the properties the box is ticked again. Free ringtones
Is some program preventing me from gaining full access to my folder?

    Windows?
It's probably shared by other groups than Admin.
Try to add the group Everyone and give full auth.

In case it fails, try Unlocker 1.9.2.

In case it fails again, try to boot in live linux like knoppix, it shouldn't care about win auth.

Almost sounds like your SSD reached it's max write limit. Is it an older one? Try running Crystal Disk Info. If your SSD comes up anything other than blue (good) you need to back up your data asap and replace the drive.

That program is not going to work in this case. Those folders, especially in W 10 get into a lock path and that app from MG is useless in this scenario. In my expericence with everyone I have helped with a similar issue, it comes down to user error. They do not do it correctly.
