I don't know if it's because i'm high but there seems to be such a delay between both it's almost uncomfortable for my brain in this part :

i dont hear anything wrong, but yeah you are right in a way, it's pushed back a good 100ms to give the impression that it's real insruments

I don't mind it. I understand the challenge but a "tease" in resolution comes in many forms. It's not the only place in the track where the piano isn't doing it's own thing slightly. It's not a masterpiece but it's fit for purpose. I'm comfortable saying it was a deliberate composition choice which has nothing to do with error or an attempt to make it sound "real". Fits with the rest of the track's looseness. It's tighter towards the end and that actually ruins it worse for me

There's no accounting for bad taste perhaps (mine). :dunno:

Yeah, and there's a bug in the "humanization" script, it was supposed to be 50ms but it turned out 500ms. These amateurs...
Come on, not a masterpiece but neither fake as f*ck

Enjoy the ride, damn now I'm envious lol

composer probably sitting on his 10 million $ yacht thinking "damn if i'd been using 25ms track delay instead of 100ms i'd be sitting on a 20 million one dinghy rite now, should have listened to those folks on audiosex! "

Ouh don't get me wrong, in no way i thought it as a mistake, we all know it's not a real live instruments recording situation so it's just a dude behind his computer and there's no way he'd let anything go unchecked. It was just too loose for me.
I know it's no masterpiece but i keep listening to the thing, there's something about that rise at 5:13 that gives me the chill i'm looking for when listening to music.

It's a bit disjointed with the rest of the ensemble. Cellos usually in an orchestral piece aren't pushing the groove, but that bit was waaay too far behind. I wonder why that glare on the water went unnoticed and slipped through.

    I still maintain it's the piano that's ahead. :)

Yeh it's "fake" but plug anything and it's a bit fake innit! :P. It's not the best attempt at making sample based composition sound organic (that sounds pompous even to me). It's alright. Who knows if he meant it or not.

He/she either put something together that's a little off for effect or they're bad/rushed. You like what you like.
It's ok. I wouldn't wipe myself with the paper it wasn't printed on but it doesn't offend me either.

Don't take this thread too seriously guys haha, i was just high as a kite and it could very well had been just a trumpet being too "crispy" that would have made me phase out that night. Just happened to be this tune at that moment haha. I barely notice it when i'm clear-headed.
