Lyrics have become so raunch that the intelligence needed to decipher provocative or suggestive lyrics without actually saying IT has gone away. Hitchcock used to instill fear into audiences by NOT showing gore on screen & instead letting the individuals mind terrorize oneself. The same could be said for music lyrics back in the day. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not stuck in the past, & I want music to advance. But lyrics today have been dumbed down to the point of pussy and fart jokes & they pass as creative genius... Hip hop is dead & we’re in the disco era of rap. Utter shit.

Rap in the late 80s to mid 90s was some serious raw shit. This new stuff has no grit, no message. Its made for 10 year olds like the most chart breakers today, that goes for music and movies.
