I'm on old Win XP 32 Bit and i changed mainboard (old fired), i'm lucky because not need reinstall o.s., i hope to reopen my projects but have some problem with some plugins and others, i discover gradually various problems and needs help here.
First question is related to Stylus RMX:
Hard Disk with SAGE folder change letter (from F to E, and F is now letter of cd\dvd drive)
when i load plugin in Vst Host need to insert cd on F (don't says any reference to Sage, and i changed with right letter in Sage link on program folder in C:.
I close this window clicking many times on close icon, Stylus open but needs new serial, i use AiR kgn but nothing. I re-install my last Stylus update (v1.9.6e) and again use AiR kgn but no luck ....

try with revo unistaller do a deep uninstall and then reinstall

already i assumed it, I hope it has no consequences with my Cubase 5.1 AiR ... but i think i need to uninstall and reinstall some stuff ...

 

@adrian It is an easy fix. There are 2 ways to do it.
All you need to do is delete the shortcut for your SAGE folder and create a new one pointing to the right location. It is located at C:/Program Data/Spectrasonics. Make sure to rename new shortcut SAGE.
Another option is to go to Computer management open Disk Mangement and change the drive letters and paths. If you had other libraries in F you are going to have the same problems as you are having with RMX when their respective VSTs get loaded. BTW, the latest Stylus RMX is 1.9.8f.

Edit: I just noticed that you are having problems with the authorization, too. With the the RSA 512 from TEAM AIR make sure that Stylus Rmx is checked. This KG by default opens with Omnisphere. Always run the KG as an Administrator and make sure that your AV is off. If you are trying to perform a "clean install" there is no need to delete everything. More specifically, do not delete the SAGE folder. You can delete StylusRMX with REVO but REVO is not going to do a complete job. For that, you need an app like REGscanner. Run it with the following parameters:

Find String: StylusRMX.
Case sensitive: Checked
Matching: Registry item contains the specified string
Look at: values, data, keys, search for unicode string in binary value
Scan the following Base Keys: HKEY_LOCAL_ MACHINE, HKEY_CURRENT_USER, HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT, HKEY_USERS, and HKEY_CURRENT CONFIG.

Delete every item from the result list. (don't worry about messing up your registry, it is not going to happen if you use those exact parameters)

Once done you can proceed to reinstall StylusRMX software. Just make sure you have full permissions to the Spectrasonics folder.

i read you only now after I have just solved it and was preparing to post my solution.
I updated link file to SAGE not only in Programs folder but also in Documents & Settings \ All Users \ Applications Data \ Spectrasonics (i have shows hidden files) and after i update software to 1.9.8c and data folder to v1.7.
No more new authorization requests.
But i keep your solution for next problems.
I goes to solve Trillian.
I have solved for Toontrack also with registry but is long time and patience (many registry keys to EZX, SDX and midi report wrong drive letter into the registry ...

I just want to clarify something so others don't get confused looking for that "other" link you mentioned. There is only ONE link to the SAGE/STEAM folders in all Spectrasonics products which is the shortcut. The only file for StylusRMX that goes in the App Data folder is the StylusRMX.settings which is a SETTINGS FILE and has nothing to do with the problem you were having.
