Having only subscribers to the channel won't help.

You need to meet the following two conditions in order to be monetized on YouTube:

- Having at least one thousand subscribers.
- Having at least 4,000 hours viewed by your subscribers in less than a year.

If both conditions are not met youtube will not allow you to put some ads on your channel.

 

These kind of schemes are also heavily banned by youtube terms of service and adsense terms of service

 

For a moment I felt like it's 2008 again with all the "sub4sub" that was going on back then.

Sub4sub won't help you there because of changes to the YouTube algorithm. Back in the day all that would matter are sub and view numbers. Nowadays that's not enough. And even if you can get your channel monetized, you are still competing with like millions of other channels. If you want to grow your YouTube channel (or any other social media account) then seek out specialized tutorials and books about it and make sure these are not older than one or two years at most.

 

I have monetization disabled on my youtube channel, all people I know use adblock anyway

You may have thousands of subscribers but it doesn't mean that these subscribers will watch your content, that's a completely different story.

A bit like on FB where having hundreds of "friends" doesn't mean that you are in regular contact with all of them.

Bottom line: Having a lot of subscribers will not help unless you are able to promote some interesting/relevant content. This is actually the hardest part to do.

yes they can ban you it's fact , if coming to your channel to fast and subscribe then your channel well be banned
and even if you use adblock you still earn money !

 

yes but you need to active your channel first and then you can upload random stuff and get everything what you need

 

that doesn't do you anything good for you, as others have already said.
generate content of interest. then go outside and meet people. do some networking. That's still the best way to grow.

nah it doesn't prohibit anything unless you bought it and get caught. because even if you get caught it's totally okay. they just ask you if you did and if you say yes you paid for it. even though they don't care or do much. this is all very big marketing stunt from google / youtube. they want poor people like us to pay them for google ads and whatever so they just display our sh*t on the homepage that's all. if we've had money we would've atleast bought some hardware and also a daw. but we're poor so they just don't want us. that's the truth. their whole system sucks. i got more love in twitch in a month then i got more love / support in youtube. youtube is just where noobs share soft porn (atleast in india). well no offense to our forum or any member but yes that's the truth brother. i'm glad you got my question
