    I personally use iPhone 8.. sorry I mean Ozone 8. The new o9 just isn't optimised the way older versions are, and o8 was very quick, had the tools to achieve the result, good company with good products but just like Apple, marketing, yearly releases, small additions to justify a new release is overwhelming from them.

    8. it also has master assistant. not as deep as in 9 but very good. i tested 9, very sluggish loading times so went back to 8.

    v5 and v9, v5 has a good feature to actual remove reverb and other stuff from breaks, thats why i keep using it.

    I have all since 3 up to 9.
    Like maximizer, dithering, rarely use tape, sometimes dynamic eq and almost never other instances. AI in 97% cases is not my go-to...

    v9 takes like 50 seconds to load here (all my drives are SSD's, should be faster) and v8 has some strange behaviours sometimes on my system so I stay with v7 for the moment. Also used v5 here and there but I don't like its gui much.

    But to be honest, I only use ozone for quick mastering. Sometimes someone needs something fast
    and then Ozone is perfect.

    never installed any new after 5....
    ----
    since the times of not improving and just move on and sell new uncooked stuff has begun,i thought
    its good question besides member experiences which are always gold..

    You're right.Since V5 nothing is mind blowing.I've quickly tried the other later versions but I don't like them much.I just like the maximizer and the vintage tape on the v8.
    I won't try Ozone v9.
