I used a lot of different headphones and stayed with the Sennheiser HD650 for the last 10 years.
It became my reference.
Wherever I go I have my listening reference with me

Very precise, neutral and comfortable to work during long sessions.
I think he tires the ear a lot less than many other headphones I've tried.
And finally, you can easily find, buy and replace the headphone elements if you break them.
For me it's a good investment.

I use KRK KNS-8400.
I used alot of headphones in the past and i think that there are no "best" headphones.
You need to learn to listen to the sound and listen to many songs to get uset to the new headphones.
Also a burn-in time is good for headphones.
I use a sweep sine from 0hz to 30 khz for like 1 week to burn them in at an normal volume.
