Anybody know what this sound is?

    hey guys this link is for lost frequencies set at tomorrow 2019, his intro song was amazing and had some electric guitar pad sound through the track (see 1.57 of video) it has many string/pad like sound from start to finish but more noticable this one that keeps cutting in and out throughout the track, does anyone have a good idea of what it is? Btw i could be totally off here thinking it sounbds like eletric guitar!!

    Hello,
    since non of our sound design gurus took a look at this, I'll tell you what would be my take on it..;)

    What I hear are just two slightly detuned oscillators. To have a "clean" sound, I wouldn't even go crazy with unison voices/detuning. I made a quick ex. - Osc 1 saw with a bit of sqare blend, 3 voices slight unisono det. Osc 2 just saw, no unis. As mentioned, detune one osc a couple of cents. Monophonic, slow glide/portamento, a tad of soft distortion, cutoff, drenched in reverb.



    IMHO no guitars were harmed in the making.. but yet to be confirmed. :)

    Thank you very much! i had no idea that could be made on an oscillator, i suppose it shows my inexperience! No guitars harmed in the making LOL hahaha
