Recovering overwritten file... possible?

    I don't know. All i know from my side is that i have 6 back up files created by my ableton and they are all overwritten

    I'll second this answer. I've used EaseUS before.. actually the product I used was Data Recovery Wizard, i think. It worked wonders though.

    OP, just be sure you aren't doing anything on that PC until you recover, as the more you do, the less chance you'll be able to recover files.

    Thank you for your answer. Unless there is something I did not understand, it did not work for me.
    It must be said that I have done a lot of action on the computer since I overwritten the file there has ten days already.

    If your or the OS created new files on the same partition where the files were, that's not good. The chance to recover them will drop with every new file. I don't say it's impossible now, but I'd try to avoid it as best as I can.

    You mean if I created new track in my song (file)? Well, so I think it will be impossible now I played and replayed in the new file overwritten ... But anyway, I've already almost gone to something else (lol) I started to recompose this song. To hell with time lost!
