Where can I get a high quality pack of vinyl dirt and background noise samples?

    Ayyyyyyyyyyyyy perfect that's exactly what I need. I actually forgot about that plugin... :)

    Do I use it when doing mastering after I bounced to audio or while in the mix?

    If anyone else has other suggestions it's still welcome :)

    well depends on what you wanna do in the end.
    You could put it across simuler tracks or groups/Bus and make things "gel together"
    or specific tracks, where you want to dirty up some sounds, like synths or whatever.

    or on the paralellel drumbus for some more grit, or stuff like that. never tried it across wholemix honestly

    mix and match really

    I also just discovered Live has some vinyl dirt sounds in its core library and its pretty good :rofl:

    Another reason why keeping your tools simple and limited is important...

    I have a sample library of stuff like that. Someone sent it to me a while ago. I can send it to you if you want

    Izotope Vinyl and Abbey Road Vinyl are fine plugins, but I've replaced both of them with RC-20 by XLN. Sounds good, and gives you more control than the others while being easier to use. Sometimes you can get it for like $30 at pluginboutique

    Is there a plugin that makes the sound of the stylus jumping, or getting stuck in a groove? I used to wake up to that sound after passing out drunk, and it brings back great memories.
