The waves are the same only one's 1 dB louder than the other.

Besides, the peak of B is just 0,2dB higher, according to my tools.

 

I used my ears on the computer's Bose fart boxes. That's about as interested I can get about it. If there's a difference it's beneath meaningful discrimination.

 

I've matched the two files now via pro-q.
dip at 60 hz,
narrowband bell boost at 255 hz,
High shelf boost at around 500 hz.

Maybe this isn't very meaningful, but funny because the values are very similar to those that I had previously estimated

Another point to be skeptical about eq matching. I did none of these, no boost, no attentuation.

 

Maybe another hint?

It's a special behaviour of this eq that I've never come across before.
Nothing sensational, but unusal and surprising.
