Put this together the past week or so, wow was this fun. Way outside my wheelhouse, but turned out great

Lets see, I used Orchestral Tools Glory days for the 2 saxophones and 2 trumpets playing the melody, Project Sam More Swing for the staccato brass, ethno world for the shakers and bongos, Vienna Special Edition Synchron Piano, I think Chris Hein's double bass for the string bass, I cant remember what else I used, but if you hear something that I didnt mention, ask away.

There are no dynamics in it, but I dont know if it really needs much tweaking in that regard...

 

A messy ensemble without effective roles for the inner voices, just there for keeping the rhythm. Reminds me of the gallant styles.

Only in the European traditions, instruments have robust roles but unfortunately in the other parts of the world, flawed styles have come into sight by the unprofessional for misusing the instruments. This Bossa Nova reposes in that long list.
