Absolutely correct, it's still a WIP.

It's done with a steep low cut at 25Hz.

 

2 or 3 db of boost with a very smooth saturation, maybe with spectre plugin ?

hmm... i would say a lowshelf cut @ ca 400 and a bell boost @ 50 & 250 + some clipping or saturation (not sure).

Yes, a minor difference is an added low cut.

 

Good direction but I didn't emphasize any freq and this is what you'd need to do with Spectre to achieve a similar result.

Bell boost: none at all.
Some clipping: nope (eq with clipping option?)
Some saturation: well, ...
