Hello guys, I'm trying to find a solution for my problem by far.
I installed the software (Omnisphere) patched, and used the keygen without a problem with my FL studio 20.
The problem came when I tried to locate the STEAM folder (180GB saved on my external Hard disk) and the write permission.
I still can't find the solution, I tried in every way to change the write and read permission of the external HD, I set write and read for all the user and I even tried with Batchmod the set those permissions.
The external hard disk is a Mac OS extended (Journaled).
Really hope you can help me.

Make a short cut from the Steam folder on your external drive to the Spectrasonics folder in your User Application Supoort folder.
Do so by holding down command option while dragging the Steam folder to the ( already open ) Spectrasonics folder.
You will notice a curved arrow appears as your dragging the Steam folder alias to the Spectrasonics folder.
This shows Omnisphere where the Steam folder is on an external drive.

can we not put all omni threads in 1 thread, all too many appear daily and the problems have been answered many times over.

 

Still getting the same issue, idk why.
I know that there are several people asking for some help with the same issue, i surfed all over the net to get a reason for that but still can't find it.
I checked for all the permission and created the alias folder in User-->Library-->Spectrasonic-->STEAM , renamed without the alias.
