Even if it seems like it is not working, don't stop trying.
You just have to keep putting it in there and hope something happens.
Sometimes you just have to go deeper and harder to achieve the magic.
And tempo makes a big difference. Try changing tempo.

At least this is what my girlfriend keeps telling me.

Yeah, I think DnB would be a pretty good contestant for jazzy sound. I'm already experimenting with it but haven't come up with something good yet.

  8. The world is teeming with different kinds of music: traditional, folk, classical, jazz, rock, pop, world, just to name a few. Modern communications and sound reproduction technology have made musical pluralism part of everyday life. Each type of music comes with its own way of thinking about music.

Every music has its own alphabet.

especially Hieroglyphs and Hot Day and That´s just like me. A great and chord-wise so unique fusion of electronic / "extreme" jazz / world music. The guy is one part of "Deep Forest".

Prolly misinterpreting the question, but seems to be "how can I improvise over xyz chord progression?" I guess just by making an EDM / IDM track and improvising over it? Can't you use ii-V-I in any genre if ya feel like it? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
