ReaTrak https://forums.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=212645 will allow user to collab by sharing their instrument and drum recordings. You just record your instrument over different chord progressions and keys and upload them, ReaTrak will then fit these to a user's chord track they have entered. Same thing with percussion tracks these are recorded and fitted by color verse, verse post fill, verse fill, chorus, chorus post fill, chorus fill, bridge..pre chorus... etc... There are basic test files you can download here to try, including Multichannel Drum Tracks https://www.reatrak.com/downloads/test_files/ ReaTrak Youtube Videos ..
Reaper is not my main DAW but ReaTrak is just one of the many good reasons to have and use Reaper. BTW, this thread should be in the Reaper section of the Forum https://audiosex.pro/forums/reaper.58/
So this ReaTrak spaceship landed in my back yard almost a year ago, and until today I knew absolutely nothing about it. Thank you @crossovercable; It's really nice to be introduced to surprising new stuff in a vein that I'm already interested in. I really enjoyed an hour today exploring the main forum thread for ReaTrak at https://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=212645 Being still mostly ignorant but definitely interested... Comparisons with www.RapidComposer.com and www.feelyoursound.com/chordpotion/ were interesting. And stuff like this got my attention... "How to create a chord track that virtual instruments like EZkeys, UJAM Virtual Guitarist/Bassist, MusicLab's RealGuitars, Native Instruments Strummed Acoustic and many more will follow." and anyone into 'Band In a Box' will find features like this interesting... "Import Chords from Biab Plugin" Edit: and I see (@crossovercable) you've posted more on BiaB + ReaTrak at this link https://audiosex.pro/threads/collabing-with-world-class-session-musicians.49937/ I like it --- ditto: but ReaTrak might even be a tipping point for me to take a more serious interest in Reaper.
