I'm trying to move this plugin location, cause for some reasons I keep all of them on a separate drive.
Problem is, that every time I'm opening this plugin, because it's location is somewhere else, it keeps notifying me that the VST is in another location and that's pretty much annoying.

How can you change the default location of a plugin on MAC?

in windows I managed to do this, for some of them by editing some addresses in registers, how is that possible on mac?

I'm also having the same issue on Mac via vsts for all XLN plugs. I usually make subfolders for each plug. I think you can do it by creating a symlink but want to see if theres a workaround as well.

 

So this is a problem with all XLN plugins. wow..
This is the first company that I found to have this stupid issue

 

Yup. If you move your vst to any location other than the default location it's give the wrong binary error for all my xln vsts.

 

I am sure there should be a way to do this

Well that sucks, as I have legit NI stuff, and I usually will use a K'd version of Kontakt etc in another VST folder designated for Ableton etc... I don't really use the XLN stuff that much, but I could see this turning into a problem....

 

It's not a big issue but more of a nuisance as it will just give you a warning is all. Everything functions as it should. Keep in mind that this is only for the vsts. AU works with no warning.
