KONTAKT Import Audio Format .ogg

    Friends, any solution to import audio files in .Ogg format into KONTAKT?:dj:

    It can't, or want I should say. Only not lossy formats: wav, aif (kind of Apple's wav nowadays), ncw (propietary compressed format by kontakt but lossles, like a zip or rar file).
    You should convert the ogg, mp3 whatever files to wav format first

    That's right. I didn't mention it because it's a bit different format compared to a plain sample (case of wav converted ogg files)

    I only have a very old library that uses rx2. I tried to convert them to ncw and my computer almost dies :rofl:

    Rex format is only an obvious choice if you are working with grooves/loops .... The same goes for Apple loops which the ideal choice for the same purpose.
    Wish I had an app for Win where I could create and tack Apple loops :dunno::yes:

    I think there's an equivalent for Windows.. something like "acidized WAVs?". Doesn't solve your problem though
