Hi

This is the first track from our new project. What do you guys think ?

 

Great, super-hooky song. Super clean vocals- sounds like they didn't need much correction at all, other than just providing a little bit of polish. Nice arrangement- I felt like the intro riff, verses, and chorus were stronger than the bridge, but it all works very well as a whole track. The mixing is excellent (everything has its own sonic space and the vocals sit really nicely in the mix), and I'm betting that it was pro mastered, as it sounds totally radio-ready. In fact, I could see an A&R person eating this with a spoon, if your project isn't signed yet. And the video was fun- nice dance moves. Did you use anything in particular to get such a nice, warm overall vibe for the track?

Very cool! Nice composition, sounds, and mix, but love the dancing!

 

@bele Nice track and video. Thanks for sharing it with us. The hook in it is money. This song will benefit from a remix by someone who was not involved in the original production.

@KlootJavaan A member shared his song and video with us. You gave him a "dislike" without explaining why you did that. The rules here are clear on this:

Giving someone a negative rating on his or her song does not help that person to get better as an artist, producer, singer. Your constructive criticism could be something that does exactly that. Where is your explanation for your "dislike" of this song/video?

 

A pro production, I'm impressed.
I suppose this wasn't your first track, and probably won't be the last.

would deserve a better video actually, since I can't hear no real flaw in the production. very M.J vibe/influence with a modern touch.

 

I think it's catchy but the mix is weak. There's no depth. To me... it all seems to be on one plane, 2 dimensional. It almost has a monophonic quality to it too. The song also lacks "build". It starts at one dynamic and pretty much stays there. I would "thin out" the intro (instrumentation-wise) and continually add from there with each ensuing section (Verse, Chorus, Break, etc.) until the peak is reached in the final chorus... best wishes.

 

At first I thought after seeing this post, hear goes another raper. But my GOD so nice to hear a really nice song. Well done.
Who did the guitar work at the end?
It a little too distorted to me and could use a very little boost in the mix. This is just me and my comments.
