Hey there. Clearly there are quite a few versions of Waves on the sister site, however most of them don't seem to work for me. I used to have 9.6 working pretty cleanly but can someone give me a hint as to which 10 package might be the go for Mac?

they all work, it's likely that you're missing one crucial step during the installation. let me guess, the plugins aren't showing in your daw after you installed them?

 

Hmm. No. It varies from version to version. The plug is displayed in the DAW but when attempting to open it suggests I contact the manufacturer...which I'm unlikely to do.

 

do you see all the plugins or just the waveshell?

 

All the plugs, but they won't open.

I feel I need to to a clean restart - erase all Waves apps, caches, plugs, etc. But I think I must be missing something because that isn't working. Anyway, if I know its working for you that's a good start.

 

even genuine Waves can easily get corrupted;
make sure to perform clean uninstall, manually cleanup leftover folders and files;
good start is official install and just replace license engine bundle
