    Hello Audiosexers ! :),
I created & edited this short film for all members of this community to practice their film score skills !
You can grab & download it using a YT downloader from this link :

Here is an example that i created, enjoy ! :

Here is the the Making Of  :

    ^
The composition is created in Logic Pro X
    I used a chamber strings/string quintet section.
A string quintet is a musical composition for five string players. As an extension to the string quartet (two violins, a viola, and a cello), a string quintet includes a fifth string instrument, usually a second viola (a so-called "viola quintet") or a second cello (a "cello quintet"), or occasionally a double bass.
I did this in a chamber orchestra size where you have :
Strings ranging from between 12 (4 first violins, 3 second violins, 2 violas, 2 cellos and 1 bass = 12) and 21 musicians (6 first violins, 5 second violins, 4 violas, 4 cellos and 2 double basses= 21) sometimes performing without a conductor.
The composition opens with the string ensemble playing in the articulation /technique of “flautando” which is to create a flute-like sound with a bowed stringed instrument (typically a violin) by moving the bow lightly on the string near or at the fingerboard. This effect can also be created by using harmonics.
Then you hear the cello section playing in legato decorating the composition, with the basses in pizzicato.
The second part of the composition, starting at bar 67, introduces the col legno
technique : striking the string with the stick of the bow, rather than by drawing the hair of the bow across the strings.
Also you hear the chamber strings in divici mode with adding short staccato/spiccato & some tremolo passes, the first violins playing in legato towards the end.
Notice that the tempo changes ,starting at around 120 bpm & ending to 150 bpm.
I achieved this in Logic Pro X using the edit : Tempo operations.
With this you can create a smoother curve of the tempo change you want to make, cool stuff.
Also there are different velocity settings on all parts & added dynamics/expession added with the modulation wheel.
    Mixing :
Not a lot done to the individual parts ,bus reverb is the Vallhala simmer with the low end portion of it high passed/low cut.
On the master bus I used in series Softube Drawer s73 -> Fabfilter pro q3 doing m/s processing -> tiny bit of Softube saturation knob adding some harmonics ->Fabfilter Pro L2.
Last but not least some spyfx love.
Thanks for listening to it & reading, take care spyfx.

Love your compositions. If there was no movie I would have given it more movement. The staccato part was great.
