It would be the stock compressor. The job one stock compressor can't do is done by 2 or 3 stock compressors in combination with eq.

Wow; this is a beautiful photo, taken just seconds before someone sets the levels on a limiter during a mastering session, if I'm not mistaken. If you look carefully, you can almost see the dynamics dying.
Seriously? Good call, @Fudsey Plange . Kush gets an honorable mention from me, as well, though I'm sticking with my initial choices, either, Emperical Labs Arouser, Black Rooster VLA-2A, and DMG Audio Compassion.

 

Damn my first response is instantly "the one in Logic" but if its gotta be third party, guess Ill go with DMGs since it has multiple models at least. I use em all for different instruments and purposes so I couldn't be without an 1176, LA-2A and a good VCA like the API-2500 or a Dbx flavor. Guess Ill need my SSL too since it lives on my master bus.

Hi,

Klanghelm DC8C (or Fabfilter Pro C2) for me, I don't really know that much about compression yet, so I don't want to install too much plugins.

Sometimes I use some Waves compressors because I have the... big bundle haha.

FL Studio really needs a better stock compressor (besides maximus), I think the Cubase Compressors are much better.
