    Hey guys.
I'm having a problem saving quickload libraries in 6.1.1 portable.
When I add a library folder to a quickload folder it shows up straight away. I can open a patch and use it with no problem (Using Reaper btw).
When I close reaper and re-open it and add Kontakt portable to a track, the library I added to quickload isn't there.
Now I have a non-portable version of Kontakt (v5.5.0) on my PC as well. I added 6.1.1 potable for all the newer libraries that won't work in 5.5.0.
I managed to copy my quickload database from 5.5.0 and install it in the 6.1.1 portable quickload folder and they show up fine every time I open kontakt 6.1.1. But if I try to add one manually in 6.1.1 it shows up, but doesn't save and any library I add to the quickload list is gone each time I re-open Kontakt portable (but all the others I added to 6.1.1 from 5.5.0 quickload database is still there).
Now the only thing I can think of is adding these new libraries to the quickload browser in 5.5.0 and then copy 5.5.0 quickload database over to 6.1.1. But that seems like a big pain in the ass for such a simple thing.
I hope this is making sense to those reading.
Anyone have any ideas what is going on?? Anyone else experience this problem??
    Cheers

I think it's just the portable nature and having the other version on your computer may be just confusing things loading a bit. I think you just have to manually patch things up, but someone else may have a better idea of how to fix this.

Don't know if you are still searching for an answer, but I just recently had the same problem with Studio One and Kontakt Portable. Could solve the problem by starting my DAW as Adminstrator, because I have my Kontakt Portable in C:/Program Files etc...and Windows does not allow Kontakt to write in that directory!

As Admin you can create all your folders and store all the Instruments you want. And the will stay there of course when you open your Daw the normal way next time.

    Cheers.
