    I have a feeling that more plugins developer will start to offer cloud based subscription. Air Music Tech just did. Just another forecast :dunno:

    Maybe in 2020:
    EZcloud (Toontrack)
    T-Cloud (IK Multimedia)
    Claudia Schiffer (wth :dunno:)

    I hope they take all the plugins I never intended to own and make them a cloud service so it's even easier for me not to own them

    see..its lies of globalists and chem looby...chem looby is in everything its also pharma and acriculture looby...they dont kno nothing bout real plant science ..the nature inner workings...but they know NPK and pestizides and poison...which is not needed in organic farming...
    they lied bout organic farming...it would not bring enough crop and such..lol..in compare it wins with records but that you not gone read in media...
    ------

    .every fckng country did have their own agriculture but its all destroyed for the good of globals..
    plants science should be science number one...plants are our most important thing...without them nothing works...
    all decise are coming from bad food these days...

    just look at structure of a lunge or blood vessels....its look exactly the same like some tree structures...and what they produce..oxygen..

    pretty sure 2020 will be The beginning of end of Windows and MacOS as we know it now;
    recent ARM releases (iPad Pro, Galaxy Book S etc..) proving Intel and AMD cpus are inefficient pieces of shit will sparkle boost of portable/mobile market which will need software recoded from scratch for maximum efficiency;

    seeing Fabfilter recently providing AUv3 plugins for iOS means the move is real https://www.fabfilter.com/news/1561543200/fabfilter-pro-plug-ins-now-available-in-auv3-format-on-ios

    literally nobody will buy a new Mac Pro and Apple will most likely come up with their own ARM-based devices soon, which will mean end for users of legacy software like ProTools, Cubase etc.., it's very likely some new DAWs will arrive exclusively for ARM processors - so far Reaper already provides ARM versions for testing at lando;
    let's not forget Android is a joke and cannot provide low-latency audio operation, so basically Apple will dominate portable musician market;

    another big deal will be 5G network adoption, which may result in either more harsh online protection of software and plugins, but also bigger sound and instrument banks or maybe even some online libraries of higher quality;

    also there will be more problems worldwide, not just in music industry, so maybe people will forget about music a bit more

    :chilling:

    Well, it's a fact that Mac's will switch to ARM, but there's a long way ahead, just like it was when they switched to Intel. At some point the "Intel code with ARM layer" will change to "ARM code with Intel legacy layer", but it's not going to happen anytime soon.
    It also seems AMD could be the medium run winner (Windows only) and ARM at the long run with at least Apple market guaranteed.
    Apparently latest AMD CPUs are more efficient than Intels, to soon to say.

    I don't know about that. It's true that companies more experienced coding for ARM will have a heads up, but nothing more. They will still need to code for an OS like Apple/Windows. Also, to this day the fastest ARM CPU is still for a fast Windows mini-laptop/ultra-tablet (hard to define Windows mobile stuff lol). I mean there's still a lot of work to be done for ARM-desktop computers.
    And there will be hell for the guys developing the official Mac IDE, XCode, I wouldn't want to be in their shoes lol.

    I don't see important changes for mobile devices. They're all ARM from start, Android sucks at high performance sound from start as well. 5G is cool but serious music production is still going to need PCs and most of them have already fiber/cable internet speeds.

    less VSTs but more practical ones
    less "snake oil" plugins, but as usual - some suckers will keep buying them = perhaps still lots of stupid plugins
    more cracked plugins

    I would love to see more innovation regarding Samplers, and sample based music production.
    Some more competition for the Geist, Battery, MPC, Kontakt

ANY SIMILARITIES BETWEEN PERSONS EITHER LIVING, DEAD OR BANNED FROM THIS FORUM IS PURELY COINCIDENTAL AND CANNOT BE CONSTRUED AS STATEMENT OF FACT, SLANDER, DEFAMATION OR ANY OTHER IDEA THAT MIGHT BE CONSTRUED AS DESTRUCTIVE TOWARDS THE CHARACTERS OR MINDSET.ARE PURELY FICTIONAL.

    It is a well known fact that no two anus are alike in the same way that each person's fingerprints or optic nerves are unique. So with this in mind the new protection scheme of major audio software developers has now pivoted from the traditional schemes which have been reverse engineered by various hacking teams in the past decade and which act as a bane to your very existence. This new technology will help unlock you as software developers creative potential and usher in a new era of a marketplace free from the scourge of piracy.

    I would like to introduce to you the next generation of uncrackable software encryption...Purple Protection.

    [IMG]

    Now every single unit of your audio software either sold or subscribed to is guaranteed to be only used by the authorized customer in your database and/or server...GUARANTEED.

    The way it works is that the end user inserts the sensor into their anus and the USB socket into their computer where the authentication process instantly identifies 12 unique markers for verificstion including anal diameter, bowel fold, bacterial flora population, hemorrhoidal degree and swelling as well as six other secret trade secret markers. It is GUARANTEED uncrackable.

    So come on over to the purple side and once again rest assured that your hard won intellectual property is safe from pirates, hackers and the poor and penniless unwashed masses.

    Duuude you just dildo-bombed the entire thread..
    you're right tho :yes:

    But this comes after NipLock, the next step in software protection..
    A cryptographic encryption system where some wires connect to your Nips, and then..

    Well you know the rest.. :winker:

    I'm sure ProTools and Subscription users all over are AVIDly waiting to embrace it,
    and encrypt their Nips for an enhanced feeling of security and warmth.. :yes:

    (and just because I didn't mention don't think you've dodged a bullet, you Apple milky payolas (aka users))
