Of course you can make that fake strum with just one key of your qwerty and become famous and play with...¿Zed? But realistic? naahhh.

It might be a plugin. But since I play guitar I would use a real steel-string guitar. It would be the quickest for sure.
Dm, Bb, F, C. Put a capo on the 1st fret.

The thing is mate, you are not playing the right chords as per Baxter who got it right. Added to that there is an added 'F' ringing out for each chord and also there is another guitar track with it playing a single note motif..E, F, D. Don't forget the slide from Bb to F and the F seems to me just octaves of F, no 3rd or 5th others please correct if i am wrong......well im sure you will anyway.

As I mentioned, these were the chords pointed out by Baxter not mine. What I mentioned has nothing to do with guitars except the slide. These are just the notes that give it the flavour.

Nothing sounds like a strumned recorded guitar besides a stummed recorded guitar...and no two guitarists or guitars sound the exact same as each other. As well, no two recordings of a mic'd acoustic will sound the same due to the fact that mic placement will always be slightly different. They will sound similar but never the same.
