so i got omnisphere installed and i cracked it (sorry im broke) and it says the steam folder does not have writeable permission and data properties files not found patch needs to be updated but it says i have all my soundbanks but they do not show up and i cant use any sounds? Windows 10 pc HELP!!

Hello, i'm having the same problem here and i can't manage to solve it, didn't find anything related to it in the forum, at least not with my scope. I'm running TCD's Omnisphere 3 version. Does anyone know how to fix it?

 

We need more information from you to help you. Which operating system and DAW are you using? What exactly have you installed so far? Screenshots would also be very helpful.

1. Reaper (latest, can't recall version name and im a bit rushed rn) in Windows 11
2. The STEAM library is located on D drive, i can manage to make it read, but then it shows the same dialog that pops up in the images exposed previously by Evanl,

Another thing, Someone had a problem activating Omnisphere, and I gave them this solution that solved their problem: "Omnisphere tries to install in Program Files, instead of Spectrasonics path in Documents and ProgramData. What was the path of Omnisphere 2?"
