Hey guys so I must of hit a setting somewhere that was wrong when I drag and drop a sample onto the channel rack the root note of the sample goes to like C0 and i have to manually go in and change it every time I change my sample it's really annoying... does anyone know how I can hit a master reset somewhere?

 

is that with all samples? even with samples recorded yourself? caus it could be a setting in the sample itself

Some samples got a root note setting embedded in the sample, does it happen with samples that came with FL?

 

Yes it even does it in the fpc its weird

 

What sample are you trying? i want to try it over here
and can you open the sample in edison and press F2 and check if the root note matches the one in the properties

 

I ended up fixing it I'm pretty sure it was a weird glitch in fl I rebooted my computer and went to a empty template and things went back to normal

Yes I restarted it... I thought it was fixed but no it was good for alittle bit then it started again... very frustrating
