Well to be fair, 1$ isn't even the lowest, I think they even gave one of their products away for free during one of their earlier promotions Don't feel bad because I wasted plenty of money on their products before I learned my lesson.

 

@waverider glad i'm not alone. about having the same experience there. imagine buying air boom for some tens of usd and then few days later you just discovered about 90 free cm plugins for just $3 (in single issue) (which includes plenty of drum machine vsti) i just started on buying plugins btw (been looking for cheap/affordable/deals and searching free alternatives too) about to learned my lessons

 

i agree partially, hybrid, vacuum and xpand!2 i also got for less than a euro a piece but i've never seen the riser this cheap and even though i have a several synths that can do similar things the riser does it a lot easier and has some features i havent seen elsewhere, and getting iris along side for free it was a bit of a no brainer for me

reading all the above comments,I completely understand the frustration when buying something and this is not worth the price!
Sad because it refrains me to pay for others who are maybe worth it....Zynaptiq ADAPTIVERB for example...REPRO 5 and HIVE...those are priceys and I'm a bit reluctant to invest on those...

 

I took advantage of the above offer buying The Riser mainly so I could get iris, I've tried Iris before and its OK, the GUI's a bit shit and the sound quality is like, meh... but its something to play with over the weekend and for £7.95 you cant really complain. However don't let that put you off from buying Hive, its in a different ball park, sound quality and development wise.
