Hello,

Has anyone found a way to export bitmaps and animations from Fl Studio's Control Creator? I created some presets (mostly knobs) that I would like to use in a (personal, non-commercial) Kontakt GUI, but I can't find a way to export from Control Creator. It may not be possible (shame because those controls really look good).

Failing that, can anyone tell me if you have come across alternatives to JKnobMan. That's very good but it hasn't been updated since 2016 and unlike Control Creator, the graphics bank is poor and does not provide built-in anims.

I doubt it, its meant to be used in FL. but you could take a screen shot and it would be fairly easy to make an animation out of it

 

Animations are not that easy with screenshots. Kontakt takes png sequences so it will be expecting over 100 screenshots for one animation. Also, I can't just convert a video of the screen because I need to move a button manually to animate it which means that the cursor is recorded and, more seriously, the animation if really jerky. I have tried to use screenshots to animate in Photoshop or After effects, but that only works for the flat animations (not when the inside wheel in a knob changes shape, for example).

You can take a picture and rotate it in a video editing program and export, you will lose that animation when you over the mouse over it but better than nothing

 

Yes, I've actually done that or created my own in Photoshop and After Effects. But the FL ones on mouse-over are just really nice. Oh well, I'll have to have my Kontakt Instrument with a less appealing interface.
