is it okay if I delete keyscape and download metropolis ark 1 or anything else? I'm more into orchestral music and I'm trying to do research and trying to make some shit here and there. so I think I can't use keyscape to it's full potential because either I'm too noob or I don't know what's wrong with me that once I download a thing I barely uses it. so I don't know why but I have tried and couldn't find any good sound from keyscape it is warm and also I liked the dark cinematic dark preset but other than that I think it's shit and I'm more shit than it because I can't use it. so guide me legendary brothers

actually I use serum mostly but due to some restrictions I can't use it as orchestral stuff. I have got some nice presets from ESW - Coda. but apart from that you need good wavetables to atleast start. so no offense in anyway. and nah I ain't asking for permission. but it's more of like advice from my fello producers who knows better. because as I can see everyone was at a point where I am now. I mean it's hard to explain. but hope you get me. deleting keyscape and trying metropolis ark today. will let u know people.

 

Keyscape and Metropolis are IMHO two completely different animals not related to each other, a bit like apples and oranges.

One is only dedicated to keyboards whereas the 2nd is aimed at orchestral stuff.

Therefore I'm not sure how one can replace the other and vice versa.

 

oh yeah i totally get it brother but there's no point in keeping keyscape and using it. i am on low storage and i am poor guy so can't buy a 4tb hdd now. but i need to upgrade my gpu first and then i'll buy a hdd. so yeah i am on low storage so i am deleting it. infact i deleted it now. now downloading metropolis. as i said i am trying to make some orchestral stuff so i think i can use it

That aside, I don't know much about this kind of instruments but from what the others users here tell you probably Metropolis is a better choice.

 

Keyscape is a jazz, blues, pop, and rnb library

 

OT stuff is CPU intensive.

Try Red room Palette. They have some free stuff on their site to test the library.

@indianwebking If you asked me I would say don't do it. After you went on a mission to download it, install it and authorize it, now you want to delete it? Keep it. Learn it little by little. Sometimes it takes time. One thing I know for sure is this: if you keep on jumping from program to program you will never learn it. If you had paid for Keyscape would you throw it away?

 

I wouldn't delete it either but since he already did and he has free disk space problems...

That's good advice. Anyway, the good thing about Kontakt is you can slim down the shit out of most orchestral/choir libs.
You kill all the mics but one, you kill unnecessary articulations, you kill the brass players while you're at it (I don't know why but I always hated the compressed faces of those f*ckers) and you end with... say Sonnuscore The Orchestra ...
