this plugin was ahead of his time great features and Waldorf Micro q Preset support


are there any nice Presets out i have to try in this Plugin?

Doesn't sound bad for an old vst, but sitting next to the real thing, I don't regret having it. The real thing sounds absolutely incredible!

 

do me one as well, please. i'm probably the luckiest MicroQ owner ever, got mine still with warranty as it was only 3 months out of the box when i bought it. now whats lucky about that you might ask, well here's the kicker: i got it a few years ago, and it's a phoenix edition. this was one of those once in a lifetime finds, the musicstore it came from had previously lost it in their warehouse and found it again years later.

but i still suck for selling my microwaveXT

 

Youtube videos and Soundcloud demos truly don't do justice to how good the MicroQ sounds. I mean, I knew it was gonna be great, but holy cow I was not prepared for this amazing sound.

 

I'd forgotten about my MicroQ...I need to find some patch cables to hook her back up! Curious how this synth sounds though.... I'm so lazy in the virtual world. haha.

I would like to get my hands on some sounds for the rack though - maybe to inspire my creative juices with it again.

 

which version pls ?

 

any know why has been discontinued? Some people say that Waldorf Largo are the sucesor, but for me, Komplexer sound very different and best than Largo.

never heard that largo was meant as a successor, ok it did come later but it was meant to be a controller for the blofeld but ended up being a seperate vst.

It's unstable and they pulled it from the market before all the bugs were fixed. The longer you use it, the more unstable it becomes. A huge pity because it was easily the best VSTi Waldorf ever tried.
