    just for the record..virus is a software synth in a controller.
    fraifickmushi pointed it out allready..

    The combination of Roli seaboard + certain daws and synths beats even the best yamaha vintage synths (like CS-80), imo, if someone is looking for a good sound and expressive playing.Parameters in Fxpansion synths are already premapped for Roli.

    Unfortunately, they already stopped producing the biggest keyboard, I guess they were not selling well compared to cheaper editions.

    Recently I bought an Korg M3 , and I was very lucky to find inside also the Radias module who is, all for only 500 euro . RADIAS is a synthesizer/vocoder option board that uses Korg MMT (Multiple Modeling Technology) to provide a wide range of tonal variety and 24 voices of polyphony . Plus Karma ....:wink:

    Yes something like ebay , but local (olx) . Somehow I'm returning to hardware ... Every thing is faster and there ... M3 With Radias , Last month I bought an Yamaha Motif ES rack , with PLG150-DX ( DX 7 module , PLG150-DX offers the FM-based power of a Yamaha DX7 synth) and PLG150-AN ( yamaha AN1x module , PLG150-AN provides analog-modeling synthesis) ... This was more expensive , 700 euro , but worth every penny ...:rofl:

    i know people are gonna hate on me for saying this but most software synths can't compete with hardware synths, even if they are VA. a virus C or TI will sound better than sylenth and it will be more versatile, just don't go for anything less than a virus C (the virus a and b were shit). i had a virus b but sold it cause i just dont like the virus sound, i also dont have sylenth installed caus i don't like it. i did have it installed years ago and it's no match for an actual hardware unit.

    FE: why is it that people are still ripping the SID chip out of old C64's to use in SID-machines and not just use a software emulation of it?

    No . Romania . Now I'm eyeing a Korg Triton Rack , with Moss (Multi-Oscillator Synthesis System) expansion board fitted providing a tone generator as featured on the Korg Z1 , I find it at 350 Euro ... But this is for next month ....:)
