    Hello
I wondering how to plug a reverb pedal like TC electronics Hall Of Fame 2 reverb to behringer 404hd sound card with ableton live 10 to use it on plugins?
    how do you do that?

You'd use the External Audio Effect Ableton effect.

Just be careful with the levels when sending and receiving audio so you don't end up with unwanted noise and distortion.

you need to use ableton external effect ...u use one out from interface , go thru pedal in back into interface...

    BTW
ableton is cool...you can use multiple interfaces...

if you want to use it in true stereo then take 2 1/4 inch jack cables not balanced trs as most guitar pedals don't use balanced connectors.
connect them to output 3 and 4 on you audio interface to the inputs on the hall of fame 2.
then take 2 more and connect to the outputs on the hall of fame to inputs 3 and 4 on the audio interface.
in ableton load the external effect plug then set Audio to output 3/4 and audio from input 3/4.

then you want to put a sample of a square wave on the audio track and pres the bypass on the pedal and record that track to another one using the resample input so you can see how much latency there is the adjust the setting on the external effect plug to compensate.

note this latency will change if you change your buffer settings or the sample rate.

also some pedals don't like line input so get a cheap reamp box like http://artproaudio.com/product/dual-rdb/
or more expensive but only mono https://www.radialeng.com/product/extc-sa
i found this most common on distortion pedals.

also you could record impulses from the pedal using the max4live convolution reverb then you can use more than one type of reverb from the hall of fame.
