anyone having the manual for stormbreaks,stormdrum,kompakt..intakt ?

There was none. Same one for both. I forgot where in the instrument you needed to click for extra info. BTW, the Kompakt version is not even worth the download. The one to get is the Intakt version.

 

As far as I can remember Kompakt was a regular sampler and Intakt a drum sampler, so with drums you wanna go with Intakt version if you can.
Kontakt 2 unified both.

Also, East West Kompakt & Intakt VSTis had customized versions of Kompakt&Intakt, ie they were pure VSTis.

So you don't need these manuals, just the East West releases.

Kompakt is a slimmed-down version of Konkakt.

Intakt is a sampler device aimed primarily at those working with loops.

Ad Heesive thank you but unfortunately its just a PROGRAM LIST (Please refer to your Kompakt manual for Kompakt Help)
so i think stormbreaks needs a intakt manual but its same like kompakt manual like the pirate said...

so if anybody has a kompakt /INTAKT manual : pls drop it here for the community and me

i got east west qauntum leap stormbreaks,stormdrums,colossus...planning to down the choir and gold libary , the brass sounds great imo but maybe not for a todays top scorer fo sho..., got no space and no need at moment but i like to have this old stuff...great cpu friendly and stable software...

 

ok i did start another parition in my brain and boom....got a Native Instruments Komplete 2 (cause absynth2 but that one on there is not full)and there i found the intakt manual
had it all the time on my puter

Those 2 are VERY hard to find unless you had an old version of Kompakt and Intakt

 

But you're confusing manuals for (genera) Kompakt and (genera) Intakt with manuals for specific products like Stormdrum that use dedicated players

Of course manuals for (general) Kompakt and (general) Intakt exist.

But my comments (and The Pirate's 1st response) were specifically only about 'StormDrum' which came in two versions, one using a dedicated Kompakt player (instruments only) and one using a dedicated Intakt player (loops)

The only doc I've ever seen for StormDrum 'specifically' was the one I supplied. It came from StormDrum-Kompakt-Version and yes it's little more than instrument descriptions and lists of .nki files for Kompakt and Intakt (but nice as that)

I said I'd never seen a doc 'specifically for' StormDrum-Intakt-Version
The Pirate said "There was none. Same one for both.", and that's what I think too, but I was being optimistic, maybe something existed that I'd just never found.

I thought exactly the same thing BUT read his question AND technically he was asking for the individual manuals for each one so let's cut him some slack. Those he shared are not easy to find.

On the other hand, as you correctly stated there is no manual for the Intakt version of Drumstorm other than the one that is included in the Kompakt version, and which you shared.

i think if you have intakt or kompakt manuals you have it for stormbreaks etc...thats why they released an extra program list pdf for stormdrum maybe...
....

You should read before insulting.
Kompakt/Intakt and the custom VSTi versions for older EWQL libraries are a different thing.
