do someone use this OS for their workstation..? ;)

 

I'm planning to use Windows 8.1 Pro as a second Windows (besides Windows 10).
I don't know if it supports Thunderbolt.

 

i heard rumors that enterprise version has no telemetry cause it would be against law to spy out company's and also less bloatware

i dont think win 7 will give any limitation in next 5 years but when i hope to be able to go the 8.1 way....lol...no i dont begin to talk bout win10 here...

Interesting. Anyway, Enterprise of course would do just fine. No matter the version I also apply anti-spyware tools.

The reason I'd go with 8 before 7 is because in my case there's a lot of drivers and a couple of features already present. Also, I like a bit more the Windows 8 graphic style.

Of course it has his flaws, mainly the Metro/Modern UI disaster. But installing StartIsBack (Windows 7 style start menu) you pretty much get rid of all the inconveniences.

Hello, I'm using W8.1 PRO x64 and I find it wonderful, very smooth. I got used to it. Few updates, none that have caused conflict with music hardware and software. I do not plan on switching to W10 any time soon!
