Dragging VSTi from Browser into a track not working

    i have no idea what's happening here. today, studio one started acting up when it comes to dragging vst instruments or effects onto a track or instrument panel. only for some though. i scanned plugins a few times not, made sure i have only 64 bit, but to no avail.
    anyone had a similar problem?

    seriously? no one else has a similar problem.
    i had this when i used v3 but now it seems that a lot more vsts will not load when i drag and drop onto a track. like The Glue which i haved used forever, last few days not working... it's in the browser and i can open it in other DAWS? i need some advice on this, it's driving me crazy...
    i also have terrible problem seeing some vsti not all fitting on screen. even if i hide the taskbar with Dune for example, i can never see the fx or modulators at the bottom..
    help would be massively appreciated thx

    Seems something's broken in Studio One.
    I'd reinstall it. Yes, it sucks...

    ok. i tried reinstalling and all of that stuff..
    but i just found a solution on a forum if anyone is interested.
    apart from the annoyance of not loading plugins i also noticed some entries in the plugin manager that i had deleted and yet i could not see how to get rid of them. in short:
    in the Presonus installation folder there is a folder named "x64".
    all you need to do is delete this ( or rename it temporarily something like _OLD as a suffix... then when you restart Studio One it's forced to do a proper re-scan. everything seems sorted now... so...
    my only bugbear now is the inability to show all of the plugin GUI on some plugs. esp. DUne which is a pain as i use that all the time...
    anyhoo....
