    Hi guys.....

    I have noticed that i have a little issue with "Orchestra Tools - Berlin Orchestra - Inspire II v1.1" and I need a help with it....

    Library works fine for 100% but it seems that kontakt or me have issue with long name paths... and yes I enabled long paths on windows.

    On the first picture you will see that was trying load patches from "Single Instruments\02. Sections\01. Strings\03. Flautando Strings Whole Ensemble\" BUT kontakt says that there is no any patches......right :rofl:

    As you see on the picture, patches are visible (yes!) but in only FILES tab, not LIBRARY tab....

    And that would be ok for me becouse I can load patches from there (if I have to) - normally I'm using a QuickLoad...BUT thats not the end.... :guru:

    ....becouse visible patches in FILES tab cant load! :woot:
    Kontakt says that there is no file or hdd is not connected, right..... The same issue I have with QuickLoad option....

    ... but thats not all :unsure:

    BUT if I load patch with drag'n'drop method from explorer suddenly patch is loading and works ok BUT the name of preset is changed as on picture....

    I think that is long name patch issue above 256 signs and kontakt have a problem with it....
    Dont know if only me have this issue or somebody else...

    So any help with it?? How to fix this?? :dunno:

    System: Win10 Home 64bit 1903
    Kontakt: 6.1.1

    Any tips/solutions will help :wink:

    Well, I can only think on the obvious. To make folders shorter. Especially those "Instruments\BOI - Berlin Orchestr..." loong folders.
    You'd have to resave the instruments but it's common practice (I use v6.0.4 for that, v6.1.1 seems to crash).

    When you drag'n drop I think the files pass through an intermediate folder (usually Windows/user temporary folder) so that could explain it.

    Propably I will make a shorter folders but this structure folder is original from OT..... so it should work fine :P

    Yeah I have noticed that v6.1.1 is crashing during batch re-save but untill you dont close window with error, batch resave will finish normally...

    I will wait a while for some other solutions and will try to make shorter folders :mates:

    Well, if your base folder path name is short it should work. Like:
    D:\kontakt libs\ -> probably works
    D:\Users\Xupito\Documents\music\software\kontakts\libs -> probably doesn't
