We haven't seen any updates from R2R and Hexwars with regards to Fl Studio updates in a long while. Does anyone have an inside story or detail as to why? Some of us are curious to know.

 

Being patient always proved to be an effective solution, they will not randomly stop cracking stuff.
Also the last Version I know of was uploaded about 2 Months ago.. no need for stressing.

Cracking needs a lot of testing, else you end up with timebombing software or crashes.
Give them their time and they will provide us with another generous release

 

I am not sure about R2R but heard rumours this is Hexwars right now.

There is a thread somewhere about that R2R no longer will crack FL Studio. I don’t remember why. It is a perfectly legit question imo. Just ignore the smug answers from certain people.

The way I see it....there are free and very affordable options for every tool needed to make music. I've been a warez benefactor for going on 35 years now. If it's the end....it's the end. Even though I believe there will never be an end...options are becoming very slim

Is there no alternative that should crack software for us in the future? So far, R2R has been pretty good. Why are they suddenly stopping?

 

They are not. It is something about FL Studio that makes them think it is not worth cracking. Anyways, someone else has already cracked it, and it is readily available, so why they won’t is just out of pure curiosity. Also, as I said, there is a thread somewhere already explaining this too.

 

I'm confused. When I was keeping up with warez, Image Line used the same protection for everything and never seemed to update it. You could run the r2r keygen to authorize the whole line without even patching.

And yet, literally once a week or more there's a thread just like this. Did IL protection change or are people just too lazy to DL an older release and run the keygen

 

Their protection schemes actually changed within the last few releases.

 

I think R2R said in an nfo that the copy protection has changed or that the binaries are encrypted or something like that. It is now apparently more work to crack it.
This is the same question as "why did R2R stop releasing Native Instruments".

I have a few suspicions. Either the protection is so hard that it takes longer and they want to do a proper job at it. Or they stopped releasing in order to not allow the devs to analyze the crack so they would subsequently improve the protection even further. Or they do release it and keep it internal for the same reasons. Or they are fed up with certain things about the scene, like e.g. uploaders making money with R2R's releases or something (they posted statements about this in a few nfos) and decided to release less. Whatever the case, I did notice they don't seem to release as much as they used to.

But hey what do I know, perhaps they just watched too much anime and had their brains fried with anime music. I guess we should wait for Halloween and Christmas and see if/what they drop on us. I just wish they had a Twitter so I could spam anime memes at them all the time lol

 

Not likely they would withold FL Studio for this. As said, they stated somewhere it has to do with the new protection. Strangely enough someone else has managed to keep on cracking it.

 

The Audio Warez community brought this upon themselves!!! Too many people complaining about how R2R was only releasing updates and not releasing anything new. So they stopped doing that unless the update was a significant one. As far as Hexwars goes, they made it very clear when they came back that if people started to demand stuff they would simply quit releasing altogether.

 

We are talking about FL Studio here. And their reasons for not cracking it is not for the reasons you are bringing up.
