Hell yea, did a job of building an old girlfriend's art studio and got some down my back.

I didn't notice the photo had no covering and only thought it was mustard yellow fabric.

    Right you are.

Dude i got mine for a very low price because a friend wisely suggested i go to a place that does HVAC installation and ask if they have extra leftovers to sell

I couldnt fit the box in my car so i pulled it all out by hand, stacked it on the seats and in the trunk. The employee there probably - rightly - thought i was a fucking retard lol

It took me a few minutes to realize i had splinters EVERYWHERE on my hands

@Mixtic : I wouldn't consider an outside voice wet. It should be dry, that's why I advised going outside in the first place.. Maybe you're still picking up reflections from a nearby wall or surface? The only problems with recording outside would be wind & background noise, but they can be dealt with..
For opera, I wouldn't use a Convolution reverb, I'd choose an Algorithmic, big fan of 2C Audio Aether..

Gee wiz, that cert was a learning experience.

Learn from the error of my ways and take my advice to not suffer needlessly like I had done...never naked rock climb. The learning curve was painful and nearly fatal.

@Lois Lane No worries on that account. Never occurred to me as a thing that might be fun to do haha

Get yourself a SHURE SM7B. You need a lot of gain for this mic. Get a cloudlifter if your preamps aren't up to the task (...or get a new preamp). Thank me later.
