hi guys, i downloaded today massive x and i don't know why but this happened :

ps: am in live 10 suite and i use x64 bits vst plugin

i need someone who can help to resolve this :

 

its full of bugs, why they release it with all the bugs is crazy, aint that what beta testing is for.

 

Usually 1.0.0 releases are buggy. There are only few beta testers during development, and they can't test everything and fixed all the bugs

 

Obviously a marketing pressure. Initially, it was scheduled in february. Then delayed for June... It wasn't ready but had to be released nonetheless...

Regarding your bug, have you uninstalled and reinstalled your graphic card drivers?

As suggested, check the graphic card drivers and also check how you run Live (Admin mode?).

 

nothing to do with gpu drivers, its massive x, its full of bugs

 

It's no good. No good at all. A public beta testing should avoid accident like that.

 

i have this issue on windows 10 fl studio 12.

hunting for the asdr took me way too long.

what little i did figure out was pretty cool but the gui bug is definitely something that needs fixing

 

full of bugs. sounds crap. what to like ?

 

on osx in FL i have a weird shrinking bug, when i change a preset the window gets smaller but the gui stays the same and can't resize the window, it fixes itself when i change zoom

 

some options in the graphic driver could create such bugs
idk ... overlay, aliasing ...
i know i would first check all things possible related to the graphic card

 

i gave up and opened browse parameters in fl studio to fiddle with knobs and stuff the old fashioned way.

holy midi cc list batman , theres like barely anything there so im truly baffled as to what does what still

You're not the only one having this issue it seems, so maybe there's a solution apart from waiting for the inevitable patch.

 

Those 16 things? They're mapped to the macro controls at the top, which can then be used to modulate whatever they want. Took me a while as well as there's no midi learn (yet, but hopefully there will be).

Yeah, it was released truly half-baked but let's hope some proper fixes are on the way since as a synth it's a beast.

 

It's only version 1.0. Lots of bugs are expected.

 

Sorry but that's bullshit! Many plugins are using OpenGL to render the GUI. I need patching gpu drivers on my old laptop with an old Intel 3000 HD to render some plugins correctly!

 

Yeah -lean methodology - drop it like it is and fix it afterwards instead of delay the product

Am I the only one who is turned off by that GUI? As soon I see it in front of me I feel like, "no, sorry, I don't want to work with you"

So it's the complete opposite of what Serum represents to me: ease of use, logic, smarness, no-nonsense GUI design.
