Please excuse me if this has been posted before, but the search function didn't reveal any interesting threads in this area, so I'm posting a new one here.
The recent warnings about Loudminer (if you don't know what this is please google it) have strengthened my concern about using cracked vsts/aus on my Mac.
Now I'm searching for a good antivirus/anti malware solution that really detects these and similar risks but on the other does not detect every keygen/patch in the cracked vsts as a virus.
Is there anyone here who might have found a good solution for this or do these two features exclude each other? Please let me know. :)

No need to be paranoid, all windows users haven't viruses on their pc.You are not lucky if you have a virus on your pc,or you download any trash you find on internet.

  8. Malwarebytes protects against Bird Miner so Loudminer shouldn't be far behind.

Researchers at ESET and Malwarebytes have discovered crypto mining malware hidden in pirated music production software. The pirated software loads the malware in an emulated copy of Linux Preview Changes (opens in a new window)and can infect Windows, Linux, and even MacOS.

Downloading pirated software is generally a bad thing to do. Not only does it deprive developers of earnings for their hard work, but you may also put yourself at risk in the process. Case in point, researchers at ESET and Malwarebytes, recently published findings of malware they’ve dubbed Loud Miner and Bird Miner respectively.
