Seems like a kontakt on roids, since it comes with 15gb samples.

Some of the patches sound ok and some sound just stupid. Modo seems a little more realistic.

 

I'm curious about how this sounds. Though sampled instruments aren't Waves specialty and there's a lot of competence with e-bass/e-guitar VSTis.

 

Preferred Modo too here. Another upcoming to watch for is EZbass... if not good, I really need that songwriting tools haha

 

I'm a bassist myself but I can't get many pattern variations on top of me head. EZBass would be so good for my songwriting.

 

Awful, deeply awful.

 

I allotted a fair amount of disk space to Waves instruments and used not one of them not once ever. Then I had the idea to get rid of them all. Now I don't give them a thought. I often wonder if I did the right thing, but then I ask, "what would Jesus do?" and that's not a simple answer because I'm not sure how Jesus feels about digital data. I will ask Krishna later.
